George DeMet is the founder and co-owner of Chicago-based web design, development, and strategy firm Palantir.net. For over two decades he’s helped high-profile corporate, educational, cultural, and nonprofit clients develop effective online strategies.

George is currently the chair of the Drupal Community Working Group, whose mission is to maintain a friendly and welcoming community for Drupal, one of the world’s largest open source projects. He’s helped organize many open source community events and is a frequent speaker at open source conferences and other industry events.
