Talk:Session Ideas
From Community Leadership Summit Wiki
Double bill?
Seems like Simon Phipps' Community Layers and my What Color is your Community talks would be interesting back-to-back, don't you think? A depth-first dive and a breadth-first survey of community relations.
Sounds good. Webmink 12:56, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
Sharing leadership + Democracy now? + Managing corps == one big round table
Josh and I discussed that some parts of our vision for my suggested "Sharing leadership ..." and his "Democracy now ..." could be blended in to one session. I also think that my scope includes the "Managing corps...", since that is one of the several models of existing-leadership-circles-to-break-open.
Could this be one big session? Or should I convince Josh to work with me on both of them? Or maybe I just blend the leadership/democracy stuff and then attend his managing corps with opinions of my own?
Just throwing this out there for compression sake; haven't looked yet to see how full we are getting.

- I like the idea of combining them, at least so far as I can grok from the headlines here. If I follow you both, one is sort-of "point in time" while the other is more open to long-haul "farming" thoughts. But "farming" can happen in a week or a month, which is still a "point in time" compared to "when the old farts leave." --jrep 00:12, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Community Managers Don't Manage Communities
The topic "Community Managers Don't Manage Communities (Thomas Knoll)" sounds provocative and interesting; makes me want to be there! --jrep 17:56, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
