Spreading The Word
The Community Leadership Summit 2010 is the first event of its kind and offers a huge opportunity to share and learn best practise with others passionate about community.
With it being the first event, we need your help to spread the word! This page has a simple recipe of tips that we would encourage alway
1. Social Network It Up a Notch
If you use Twitter, identi.ca, Facebook, MySpace etc, tell people about the event. The main thing to share is the name of the event, the location and the dates (18th and 19th July 2009).
If you microblog it, use the hashtag #cls.
2. Blog It
If you have a blog, it would be fantastic if you could write a short blog entry about the ideals and aims of the event and encourage others to join us. Again, include the name, location and date of the event, and be sure to link to the website.
3. Tell Your Community
Most people who are coming to the CLS are members of communities and it would be fantastic if you could tell others about the event on your mailing lists, forums, at meetings and elsewhere. Why not try and encourage others from your community to join you at the CLS!
4. Join Our Facebook Event
This is simple, head over to http://www.facebook.com/jonobacon?ref=profile#/event.php?eid=186487039968&ref=mf and join the event and maybe have some discussion on the wall there.
