Feedback from End-of-Day-1

From Community Leadership Summit Wiki

Attendee Feedback from Day 1:

  • Put the session titles outside the rooms
  • Crowd: "No deed goes unpunished!"
  • With two sessions in one room, it can be hard to hear
  • Crowd: "When chewing the shit after your session is over, be conscious of others who may be having discussions"
  • Crowd: "There is extra meeting space in the corridors and in room #10"
  • Crowd: "You might be able to move the circles further away from each other"
  • For tomorrow, perhaps let attendees request sessions that you'd like to discuss/hear about
  • No set amount of time for passing between sessions, so suggest sessions have a dedicated ending time so there is time to get to the next session.
  • The length of the sessions is variable and that makes it confusing
  • Crowd: "Perhaps make them all 50 minutes"
  • Sometimes cannot attend sessions so perhaps repeat a few on the next day
  • Round of intros would be good. At QEFoo they all do the 3 word tag thing
  • Just round of intros Foo style.
  • Posting the twitter keywords on the wiki
  • Put the notes from your session on the wiki
  • Make a handwritten clone of the schedule and post it in other locations, so people don't all have to crowd around the same schedule.

Other Comments:

  • suggest let people 'vote' for sessions that they like
  • Don't have to be an expert to propose a session
